F1 2027 Calendar: 10 Sprint Races and Every US Date

Formula 1 and the FIA have confirmed the 2027 calendar, following approval by the World Motor Sport Council. It has 24 Grands Prix across 22 countries and 10 Sprint weekends, up from six in 2026.
The season starts in Bahrain on March 12 to 14 and ends in Abu Dhabi on December 10 to 12.

The dates that matter for US fans
Three rounds are on American soil, plus two more that are a short trip for anyone in the South or the Southwest.
| Date | Grand Prix | Venue | Sprint |
|---|---|---|---|
| April 30 to May 2 | Miami GP | Miami | No |
| October 22 to 24 | United States GP | Austin | No |
| October 29 to 31 | Mexico City GP | Mexico City | No |
| November 5 to 7 | Sao Paulo GP | Sao Paulo | Yes |
| November 18 to 20 | Las Vegas GP | Las Vegas | No |
| December 10 to 12 | Abu Dhabi GP | Abu Dhabi | Yes |
Las Vegas keeps its place in November and stays a standard weekend, so there is no Saturday sprint before the Saturday night race. Our Las Vegas GP guide covers how that weekend runs.

Five venues get a Sprint for the first time
The biggest change is Monaco. The circuit has almost no overtaking, and a Sprint adds a second competitive session to a weekend that used to have one. Bahrain, Australia, Japan and Abu Dhabi are the other first-time hosts.
The format returns to Canada, Britain, Italy, Brazil and Qatar, all of which have run a Sprint before.

How the Sprint count has grown
Formula 1 ran three Sprints in each of 2021 and 2022, then six in each season from 2023 through 2026. The 2027 season will run 10.
A Sprint weekend changes the shape of the Friday and Saturday. Our Sprint explainer covers the format, the points and the session times.
