Local start times come from The Race. We converted them to US time. Daylight saving time ends on November 1, so every race from Mexico City onward is listed in standard time.

Central times are one hour behind Eastern. The United States Grand Prix in Austin on October 25 is no longer listed because it has been run.

Next Race: Mexico City Grand Prix

The Mexico City Grand Prix is on Sunday, November 1, at 3 p.m. ET, 2 p.m. CT and 12 p.m. PT. It is not a sprint weekend. Because U.S. clocks go back at 2 a.m. on November 1, Friday and Saturday sessions are on daylight time and the race is on standard time. Session times come from the official Formula 1 event page; the U.S. conversions are ours.

Which Races Are in the US?

Only one of the five remaining races is on American soil:

The United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas was held on October 25 (see the results). Mexico City on November 1 is a short trip for fans in Texas and the Southwest, and its afternoon start makes it easy to watch live anywhere in the US.

Best Races to Watch Live From the US

Mexico City starts in the afternoon on the East Coast. São Paulo starts at noon ET. Las Vegas is a late night on the East Coast but prime time on the West Coast. Qatar and Abu Dhabi start in the morning, which works well for a weekend breakfast. For channels and streaming options, see our guide on how to watch every major racing series in the U.S.

No More Sprints in 2026

Singapore hosted the last sprint of the year. Every remaining race uses the standard format: practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday (Saturday in Las Vegas). Our F1 sprint explainer covers the format if you want to look back.

What Is at Stake

Kimi Antonelli leads the championship by 123 points with 125 left to win. He can clinch the title in Mexico City on November 1 with a top-eight finish, and November’s four races are likely to decide it if he does not. See the F1 standings 2026 for the full table and our November title guide for the scenarios.

Points left in the 2026 drivers' championship after each remaining round: 125 after Austin, 100 after Mexico City, 75 after Sao Paulo, 50 after Las Vegas, 25 after Qatar, 0 after Abu Dhabi

2026 Calendar Notes

The 2026 season has 23 rounds on the official Formula 1 calendar, ending in Abu Dhabi on December 6. The calendar was first announced with 24 rounds. The Spanish Grand Prix moved to the new Madring circuit in Madrid this year, and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix ran on a Saturday. Looking further ahead, Formula 1 could return to Africa around 2030. How to read the times

Three clocks matter on this page. Local time is when the action happens at the circuit. Eastern and Pacific are what you set your alarm to.

Daylight saving time ends in the US on November 1, so every race from Mexico City onward is listed in standard time. A race that started at 4 p.m. ET in October starts an hour earlier on the clock once the change is made.

Mexico City, São Paulo and Qatar sit in their own time zones, and none of them change clocks on the same date as the US. The Eastern and Pacific columns already account for that, which is why the offsets are not always a round number.

What happens on each day of a race weekend

A standard Grand Prix weekend runs Friday to Sunday. Friday has two practice sessions, Saturday has a third practice followed by qualifying, and the race is on Sunday.

Each session matters for a different reason. Practice is where teams learn how the tires behave over a long run. Qualifying sets the grid, and track position at most of these circuits is hard to recover. The race is the only session that pays points.

The Las Vegas round is the exception. It runs Thursday to Saturday, which is why it appears in a different place in the table than the rest of the calendar.

Why the two US races start at very different hours

Austin runs in the afternoon, because the Circuit of the Americas sits in Texas and the race needs to fit the sport’s global broadcast window without running into the hottest part of the day.

Las Vegas runs at night for the opposite set of reasons. November afternoons there are warm enough to make the racing less interesting, and a Saturday night start lands in European Sunday morning television. The result is that US fans get one race over lunch and one in the evening.

If you only plan to watch a few of the five, our guide to watching F1 in the US covers the logistics.
